Dear HERA, this week was the best week of my life. I had so much fun with you all and Jimmy. That food was delicious and Captain, your driving was so good. And Ivan, you were so fun. What an unforgettable week we’ve shared aboard the beautiful Gulet Hera! We are sad to see our adventure together come to an end! Hrvoje, “Jimmy” and Ivan, it was a privilege to get to know you whilst spending time in your wonderful country.

You guys make the greatest team. Thank you for your boundless hospitality and for making every request feel effortless. Nothing was too hard, and a special thanks for your thoughtfulness and kindness toward the children. It’s fair to say they loved their adventure on the seas as much as us!

What an unforgettable time we had on Gulet Hera sailing the Croatian coastline with our close friends. The crew was so friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed chatting with them and hearing their life stories.

Jimmy – Your cooking was always fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The fish on the BBQ was our favourite.

Ivan (aka Junior) – Always helpful and attentive, with a great sense of humour. We hope we left you with some valuable life lessons… like how to make a Piña Colada and Australia’s national dish – toast with Vegemite!

Captain Hrvoje – Thank you for navigating us to some of the most beautiful places in Croatia, from picturesque towns to the clearest blue waters we’ve ever seen. The pride you have in your yacht made for an extremely safe and enjoyable adventure.

It’s hard to say goodbye, but we’ll be recommending you to everyone we know and we hope to return one day.

To Dear Hrvoje, Jimmy & Ivan, Thank you for sharing the most beautiful, stunning islands of Croatia with us. Hrvoje, your calm intelligence made our sailing experience unforgettable – the ultimate professional. Jimmy, your culinary skills impressed us. Nothing was too much trouble, including every style of milk on the market! Your diving skills also impressed.

Ivan (Junior), congratulations on your final year of school. We were lucky to have shared that with you. Your charming and kind nature will take you far in life. We hope we taught you a few things – Piña Coladas and “yummy”. Your call to “Jimmah!!” (Jimmy) made us giggle everyday. Such a memorable week for us.

We had an unforgettable week aboard the beautiful HERA gulet exploring the stunning Dalmatian islands.

The hospitality and professionalism of Hrvoje, Jimmy and Kuzma made our journey truly special.

Hrvoje took us to incredible places and we learned to trust his deep knowledge of the winds. Jimmy was the best chef ever and Kuzma’s attentiveness was unbeatable!

Their dedication ensured that every moment was perfect and left us eager to come back and keep discovering this wonderful country.

Thank you Hrvoje, Jimmy & Kuzma for a lovely week onboard Gulet Hera. We loved the beautiful historic towns you took us to, like Hvar and Korčula, and the serene, picturesque harbours with crystal-clear blue waters, perfect for swimming and relaxing on the boat. We also enjoyed visiting the different beach bars across the islands.

Hrvoje was a tentative captain and wanted to make sure we visited the areas we desired. Kuzma was a great bartender and made sure we had all the drinks and food we needed.

And our fantastic chef, Jimmy – every meal was fresh and delicious – grilled swordfish, chicken, whole grilled sea bass, bright salads every day and his black risotto was better than any restaurant.
